Heavy financial burden

Our residences are all born with a congenital defect, because we allocate considerable amounts of space in them to be used for the work of formation: an oratory, a study room, a library, living rooms, etc. In addition, there is the house for the Administration. This, among other things, means a very heavy financial burden, much greater than that of other university halls of residence.

Worthwhile

The Work is and will be poor: we live by our work. However, we will never cease to set up residences, because they are an instrument that is, in practice, necessary for the apostolate of doctrine which we have the obligation to carry out. We will spare no sacrifice in gladly fulfilling this duty. Quaerite primum regnum Dei, et iustitiam eius: et haec omnia adiicientur vobis.²⁰ With an upright intention, seek the fulfilment of God’s will and his glory in the service of all souls, and we will not lack the necessary means.
