St Raphael’s work is aimed at select young people.

Our St Raphael work is aimed at select young people of all social conditions, students or not, without distinctions of any sort. Don’t be surprised that I use the word “select”, even though we are interested in all souls without exception. Precisely for this reason, if you want to reach everyone you have to pay special attention to the better ones. I pray for them every day at Mass when, with my hands extended over the offerings, I recite, et in electorum tuorum iubeas grege numerari;¹ grant, Lord, to number us among your chosen, among the elect.

It is not an association

Without forming an association, the young men and women take part in the activities that are carried out in and from our houses. This allows us to give them good supernatural and human formation, while bringing them closer to Opus Dei. We provide them with the means to form their character and teach them to fight and conquer in the ascetical struggle.

Formation in the spirit of the Work

Through this apostolate we offer the basic spirit of the Work to a great number of people. Through the example of our lives and our word we help them improve their personality, to use their freedom well, to deepen their knowledge of the faith, and to acquire the Christian concern to serve souls for the Love of God.
