The greatness of vocation

And St Paul continues: ut det vobis secundum divitias gloriae suae virtute corroborari per Spiritum eius in interiorem hominem; Christum habitare per fidem in cordibus vestris; in caritate radicati et fundati, ut possitis comprehendere cum omnibus sanctis quae sit latitudo, et longitudo, et sublimitas, et profundum (Eph 3:16-18); that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you through his Spirit to be strengthened in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; and being grounded in love, you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth of this mystery.

Such is the greatness of the life to which God calls us! We cannot lead a mediocre life! Scire etiam supereminentem scientiae caritatem Christi, ut impleamini in omnem plenitudinem Dei (Eph 3:19); and he wants us to know that love of Christ for us which surpasses all knowledge, so that we may be filled to the full with all the good things of God.
