The means for formation

To accomplish the whole formative task of the St Raphael work, we have a great variety of means and apostolic activities. Among these means, some have already become traditional. These have been used with proven effectiveness for the good of souls since the beginning of our Work. Included here are the Classes of Formation, catechesis and visits to the poor of Our Lady, meditations, spiritual retreats, and in general the liturgical acts of piety that take place in our residences.

The traditional means are perennial

These means are perennial and must be used always and everywhere when we do the St Raphael work, for they are characteristic of this apostolate and give life to all the other activities which take place around this St Raphael work.

Faith in these means

My dearest daughters and sons, you should have great confidence in the supernatural effectiveness of your apostolic work. If you employ the traditional means faithfully, everything will go well. Difficulties of one kind or another may sometimes arise, but they are always overcome; they are matters of “ordinary administration” that you will conquer with your sacrifice, your prayer and your joy.
