Freedom with regard to religious formation and acts of piety.

Let me stress here the freedom that the residents enjoy regarding the religious formation and the acts of piety held in the residence. It is our practice to make a visit to the Blessed Sacrament and to say the Rosary together (in the customary way in each country) just as Christian families do.

So we invite them to join in these customs, but without obliging them, using only the gentle coercion of our good example. If they wish, they can also take part in the Mass which is celebrated daily in the oratory of the residence.

Non-Catholic residents

We respect totally the freedom of the non-Catholic and non-Christian residents. Then, once they see that they are understood and respected and that they are truly loved, they will begin to be interested in the faith, which moves us to live so uprightly and charitably.

If the non-Catholic residents wish – we have to ask Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin that they will – we let them take part in the spiritual formation, and we will give them the necessary instruction to receive Baptism. How many young men and women will receive the sovereign gift of the Catholic faith through your silent and cheerful efforts!
