Human ideals
Consider how even children, particularly nowadays, dream of adventure, action, triumph, passion; but not of adventures of the spirit, because these spiritual adventures are either unfamiliar to them or seem too difficult or, even worse, because the children don’t have the capacity to recognize them.
Human and divine value of work
This happens because the general tone of the civilization that surrounds us has altered attitudes toward many things that could be different and should be governed by a different set of values. They should be governed by a sense of sanctified and sanctifying work; by a sense of projecting our supernatural ideals upon the world of work done with perfection; by effective action through efficient and organized upright behaviour.
And we will help them to realize that no noble human path is closed to a meeting with God. Rather, all such paths are places where a positive response can be made, if young people know how to free themselves from the intoxication which is being spread by materialistic solutions to life.
