Corporate apostolates of education

I am not going to pause now to enumerate the different types of corporate apostolates which, with the passage of time, we will have all over the world. The list would never end. In the educational field alone, at all levels, a huge task awaits us, which we always have to carry out as the professional work of citizens.

In the specific field of teaching, our (most varied) apostolic undertakings, which we always carry out our professional work, will necessarily be a means of giving other people a solid professional preparation and good human formation. In them we will also carry out a fruitful apostolate, not only with those who come to the centre, but also with people from all social backgrounds.

In our universities, for example, we can offer studies outside the university – always with an apostolic content – directed to the people of the surrounding region. In this way we will give these people, whether educated or not, a good dose of Christian doctrine and of good example.

If you are faithful in your daily work, and if you try to be holy and zealous, in a short space of time there will be an amazing phenomenon of many, many corporate works of apostolate with young people. These institutions will be a fertilized field, prepared for an extensive human and supernatural service to the entire population.

Apostolate outside the corporate works

Let me remind you once again that our apostolate with young people will never be restricted to what we do in and from these corporate apostolates. We also have to work in associations, schools, and high-level public and private institutions, turning them into effective apostolic instruments: ubicumque fuerit corpus, illic congregabuntur et aquilae;¹⁶ wherever anything upright is to be found, there we will go to give it more life.
