Our undertakings not named after saints
I would also like those people who cannot understand us to take a look around, not at one country, but at all or almost all countries which are or have been Christian. There they will see many, many enterprises, private, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and so on, that have saints’ names.
I respect those who have had a different experience, but I really suffer when I see that on many occasions the name of a saint, or some Catholic or Christian, can be used as a cover-up for shoddy goods. I am ready to put in writing what I say so often aloud: when I read about a grocery store, shop, or house, or business named St So-and-so (there are such things!), I think immediately, without much fear of being mistaken, that their kilograms weigh only nine hundred grams.
