Confidence in God

If we fail to live as children of God, we will lose our confidence in him, and this is to lose a good part of our Love. Then our life will become hard and bitter. Don’t forget that we are not only children of God, but also brothers and sisters of Christ: primogenitus in multis fratribus.¹¹ And that no one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil (1John 3:9-10).

Be filled, therefore, with confidence, for God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him (John 3:16-17).
