Healthy anti-clericalism is love for the Church and the Pope

Our work is secular, as I was saying, replete with healthy anticlericalism, which flows from love for the priesthood and leads us to be truly supportive of the Pope and the Ordinaries, even though precisely because of that fidelity we are misunderstood.

My daughters and sons, don’t ever tire of preaching love and complete obedience to the Holy Father. Even if such a figure had not been instituted by Christ, my mind tells me that a strong central authority – the Holy See – is needed to get those who, within the Church, do not succeed in reaching agreement, and who are at loggerheads, to see sense.

But besides all those logical reasons, and above them, is God’s Will, that there be a Vicar on earth whom he can assist with his Holy Spirit.
