Misunderstanding by official Catholics

Do not be surprised, however, that people who are used to displaying their identity as Catholics or ecclesiastics, in order to seek exemptions or to do business, do not understand the reasons for our discretion. Their general rule of conduct is so different from ours that they cannot understand us.

We confess our dedication with deeds

We do not hide our identity as Catholics. We confess it with deeds, through our work, and, if necessary, we are ready to confess it also, when it is dangerous, as did Joseph of Arimathea, nobilis decurio, qui et ipse erat exspectans regnum Dei, et audacter introivit ad Pilatum et petiit corpus Iesu (Mark 15:43), a noble man, who also hoped for the kingdom of God, and who went bravely to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus.
