Freedom and responsibility

For this reason, don’t get tired of preaching love for freedom, and demonstrating it by working with personal responsibility in all human activities. I want to stress that the Work has nothing to do with these activities. The Work is only interested in maintaining the vigour of your interior life and helping you to acquire the doctrine of Christ, so that you can carry out everywhere the service God asks of us.

Serving the Church with a lay mentality

A generous service, carried out, as I keep on emphasising, with lay mentality: the mentality of a Christian professional, who never uses the name of a saint so as to sell ‘kilograms’ of nine hundred grams, nor uses the name of the Church in vain to profit by it financially or socially.

Giving an account of one’s actions

In a word, you have to serve souls in a truly adult way and be ready to give an account of your actions, without attributing your activity to either the Spouse of Jesus Christ or to the Work.
